Last weekend a group of Catalan students traveled to Cambridge to have the opportunity to get to know that wonderful city a bit better. We were lucky to have Manuel as a guide, who enlightened us on the history and the understanding of the relationship between the University and the Colleges. Mr Serrano is very professional. He has an extensive knowledge of the history of the United Kingdom and, especially, of Cambridge. He uses a clear and simple language so that anyone can understand him. He is enthusiastic about his work and is always willing to answer questions that arise during the visit. The one hour tour was very well planned, we had the opportunity to visit several monuments and to have a general idea about the founding of the University of Cambridge and its relation with the city. I highly recommend Manuel as a tour guide in Cambridge. He makes the tour of Cambridge very interesting, full of facts and interesting stories that you will not read about in ordinary books. He makes the talk very interesting for both adults and children too! In addition, if you are a foreigner like myself, Manuel as a tour guide is a very good choice. If there is a need he use simple English and he is very skilled to explain and describe the things in case you do not understand some words. He is very patient and he makes sure the answer to your questions. I moved to Cambridge in 2004. And us being busy with work, duties, family life… there was never time to really know what Cambridge is about. Today's tour was very interesting and our tour guide, Manuel Serrano, very capable. He is an expert tour guide; his language was very understandble even for us that we are not from England and his explanations able to draw our attention. I recommend doing this tour, because you think to have the possibility to visit Cambridge whenever you want, but the reality is that if you go by yourself, without a guide, you can't understand all the history behind this monumental town. On Friday 6 October I booked a guided tour in Cambridge for the same day with other people.Manuel Serrano was our guide.We went around Cambridge for two hours.The guide showed us a lot of interesting places ;he was gentle,clear,comprehensive.He looked like enthusiastic and very well-informed about the Cambridge history.I really appreciated this tour. I had the pleasure to attend to a tour with Manuel Serrano last friday with my school. I really loved to see this beautiful city and I was impressed how good Manuel could explain the history of Cambridge even to the people of my school who are on Level A and can't speak english that good. For me this is an awsome talent! I also liked to hear some special stories about Cambridge for example the story of the eagle pub with the ghost of the lady who died at the fire.
