THE ROYALS AND RULERS TOUR
A 2-hour walking tour
focusing on the lives of people with links to Cambridge who have ruled nations and institutions, including members of royal families.
Whether as students, benefactors or supporters, such people (kings, presidents, prime ministers) walked on the same cobblestones of the city centre that you and I will walk together in this tour. Some of their names may be familiar to you, many of them probably not.
Come to hear intriguing and interesting information about these men and women before they became powerful.
This tour will include a visit to one of the "royal colleges" as long as the college allows the visit at the requested date and time. Please notice that visits are not allowed during the examinations period (May and June).
NOTE: There is an entrance fee for entering a "royal" college which is not included in the price. In 2025 this was £16 per person for King's, £5 per person for Queens'.
